TPM provides advisory, regulatory, and litigation support in matters relating to customs law, cross-border trade regulation, and indirect taxation. With increasing regulatory complexity in international trade and customs administration, businesses require integrated legal and policy guidance to ensure compliance while maintaining efficient supply chains.

With the expansion of our practice with our senior customs advisor Mr. Satish Reddy, having over three decades of experience in customs administration and trade facilitation, TPM now offers integrated advisory, policy, compliance, and litigation services to enterprises.

Our multidisciplinary team, including advocates, chartered accountants, cost accountants, economists, engineers, former government officials, and trade experts, works closely with clients to address regulatory challenges in international trade, customs disputes, and supply chain compliance.

The firm provides advisory services on a wide range of customs issues, including classification of goods under the Customs Tariff, valuation disputes, interpretation and applicability of exemption notifications, and determination of duties of customs. TPM also advises businesses on compliance with restrictions and prohibitions governing international trade, as well as issues relating to mis-declaration, evasion, and customs investigations.

TPM assists clients in structuring and managing their operations under various regulatory frameworks governing international trade. This includes advisory on Rules of Origin under Free Trade Agreements, export promotion schemes, and customs procedures governing bonded warehousing and duty deferment mechanisms. The firm also advises clients on regulatory schemes such as Export Oriented Units (EOU) and the Manufacture and Other Operations in Warehouse Regulations (MOOWR), including assistance in registration, operational compliance, and structuring of manufacturing or warehousing arrangements.

The firm also represents clients in disputes and investigations before customs authorities and other adjudicatory forums. TPM assists clients during proceedings before the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), adjudicating authorities, Advance Ruling Authorities, and the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal, as well as in matters before the High Courts and the Supreme Court of India.
