The product under consideration includes multi filament yarns in the form of Mother Yarn, Fully Drawn Yarn, Partially Oriented Yarn, Draw Textured Yarn or Crimp Yarn, Air Textured Yarn, Air Covered Yarn, High Oriented Yarn and High Tenacity Yarn.

Facts of present case – The present application was filed for redressal of dumping of Nylon Filament Yarn from China and Vietnam. The Indian industry in the present case consists of multiple domestic producers. The application has been filed by three such domestic producers and supported by four other domestic producers. The applicant domestic producers are suffering material injury due to increase in volume of imports in absolute and relative terms. Further, the imports are depressing and undercutting the prices of the domestic industry. The Authority has also noted that the profitability of the domestic industry has deteriorated and despite selling at unremunerative prices, it has accumulated inventories
