Nihit Gupta is a Partner at TPM and has been part of the firm’s International Trade practice areas since July 2010. He is a graduate from India Institute of Technology Madras, with experience of 10+ years in various aspects of

trade related matters including Free Trade Agreements, Foreign Trade Policies, Customs, Non‐ Tariff Measures and Market Intelligence. He has been providing services in these areas to various manufacturers/ traders and their associations in sectors like Automotive, Capital Goods, Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Electrical, Pharmaceutical and steel. Prior to joining in TPM, he had more than 2 years of working experience in IT industry. He is having an impressive knowledge and experience in product analysis, trade data analysis, research & economic studies in international trade. Along with providing services in these areas, he is also associated with some of the manufacturing sector associations as an advisor and is a regular writer in trade journals and industry publications. He is also one of the contributors in the Book “A handbook on Trade Remedial Measure, An Indian Perspective” published by LexisNexis. He has extensively travelled to East Asia and some countries in Middle East, the Americas, and has fair exposure of assisting clients across the globe.
