Uses – Ofloxacin is in a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones and is used to treat certain infections. O-Acid is dedicated to the production of Ofloxacin and has no other usages.

The applicant submitted that there is dumping of subject goods from China PR and consequent material injury to the domestic industry. The DGTR has found sufficient prima facie evidence of dumping, injury and causal link warranting initiation of investigation.
