M/s Aarti Drugs Ltd. had filed an application before the Designated Authority in accordance with the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 as amended from time to time and the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-Dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of injury) Rules, 1995 as amended from time to time for imposition of anti-dumping duty on imports of “Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride” or “Ciprofloxacin HCL” from People’s Republic of China. M/s Godavari Drugs Limited, another domestic producer of the subject goods, supported the application filed by the Applicant.

Designated Authority after initiation of the investigation has not recommended preliminary duties on imports of the product from China PR.
