M/s Ineos Styrolution India Limited (ISIL) and Supreme Petrochem Limited (SPL), have filed an application before the Designated Authority in accordance with the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 as amended from time to time and the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-Dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of injury) Rules, 1995 as amended from time to time for imposition of Anti-dumping duty on imports of “Polystyrene of all types except expandable Polystyrene” from Iran, Malaysia, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and United States of America (USA).

The Authority initiated the investigation on the basis of prima facie evidence submitted by the applicant and has recommended imposition of anti-dumping duty upon completion of the same.
